New Head of CASG Announced

Anthony Fraser has been appointed to lead the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) in the Department of Defence, replacing Kim Gillis from November 2018.

Anthony Fraser has a substantial background in the military, Defence capability, equipment acquisition and sustainment. A former Major General, with 5500 military flying hours, mostly on helicopters, Fraser also led the team assisting David Mortimer in his review of the then Defence Materiel Organisation. He has also served in senior positions within Defence acquisition prior to working in private industry and becoming Airbus Head of Country Australia and NZ.

DICA congratulates General Fraser on his appointment.

DICA also acknowledges the outstanding contribution made by Kim Gillis and extends to him our warm best wishes for his future retirement.
